You can also try with this approach. This is for Armitron WR 330,but i believe this could also help you.
The following labels are on the inner ring of the watch; I've given their positions relative to where numbers would be on the face of an analog watch. "ST/STP" is at 2:00; "EL" is at 4:00; "MODE" is at 8:00; and "ADJ" is at 10:00. To set the time, date, and day of week: Press and hold in the "MODE" button until the display starts flashing. (This is the alarm time.) Press the "MODE" button again; the seconds begin flashing. Press "ADJ" to set them to zero. Press the ""ST/STP" button to change what you want to set. The options appear in this order each time you press the "ST/STP" button: minutes, hour, month, day, day of week. Use the "ADJ" button to change the value of the setting. Touch "MODE" to save the settings and return to time mode.
Go to the Armitron web site "armitron.com" and select "support" from the menu across the top. Scroll down the watches illustrated and choose the one that is similar to the one you have and download the instructions.
To sync the correct 12 hour with your day you need to set the date to the day before (if today is Wed 21, then make sure the day window reads Tues 20). Then spin the analog hands until the the date window turns to Wed 21. At this point your watch is reading 12 AM (midnight). Then keep turning to set the correct time. If it is 9 am then stop the hands the first time you hit the 9 marker. If it is 9pm, then keep turning until the SECOND TIME your hour hand meets the 9 marker. This is now set for 9 pm. The day (Mon thru Sun) sometimes needs to be set seperately from the day; it may take a couple of tries but use the directions above and patience and you will achieve your goal. That's how you do it. If you need more clarification let me know.
Purchased my Armitron men's digtal watch in 2009.
Here's the twist on setting the name of the Day of the Week on my watch. When you get to the name of the Day of the Week flashing.. you don't get Su...Mo...Tu... You get 01..02..03... up through 99. (You think.. what the hell is this??) DON'T TRY TO SET Sun.. Mon.. etc here.. you won't find it. The puzzle solver..and it is.. IS TO SET THE LAST TWO DIGITS OF THE YEAR HERE.. Example... it is now 2010.. so scroll thru the numbers and set it to "10"!! Now.. when you go and set the numerical day date e.g. 3 for March, and set the numerical day - e.g. 15, the on-board computer?? in the watch will AUTOMATICALLY SET THE NAME OF THE WEEK!! It will look-up For Example.. in the year 2010.. 3-14 is SUN.. and will set it as that!! Hope this saves you some frustration.
