Locate the tech sheet for your machine. It can be taped to the back of a panel or on top of the machine or usually behind the lower panel. The tech sheet will tell you how to enter the service program and check for error codes. It sounds like the control board is failing.
You can check at Appliance Parts Pros or Repair clinic for parts for your unit.
Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Bosch dishwasher whining

if you listen to the appliance and the noise is louder on the rhs and low down this is probably the main wash motor they sometimes do whine if you can live with the noise leave it alone if not you basically have to take the whole applianmce apart for access to the motor costly repair would take a trained pro about 90 mins to replace the motor
if the noise is coming from the front of the appliance more to the lhs and is intermittant ie when it first starts up and then about half way through its likely to be the drain pump relitively easy to replace and you dont have to take the appliance to bits just go at from the front
good luck

SOURCE: Bosch dishwasher: won't fill with water

The flood switch is tripped. This is located under the unit. Unplug or flip the breaker to the dishwasher, take off the black kick plate under the door, 2 screws, and you will see the white plastic "pan". The flood switch is located where you can't really see it but it is on the left hand side wall and is made of styrofoam. The best thing to do is to put some rags in the pan, this is not easy because there is little room to put them, and soak-up the water that has filled the pan. Eventually you will get enough water out that the float will deactivate the switch. What you hear "running" when you turn it on is actually the drain pump, it get activated when the flood switch is tripped.

Have a Bosch SHU43C05UC/14 dishwasher. Water comes in, gets heated, but the unit never seems to go into wash cycle, fills, then drains a little.

This may sound odd but might work.

Reset the machine as to start a new cycle. Add 2-4 cups of water. If the machine starts and runs through a cycle then the water inlet valve needs to be replaced.

Good luck

Bosch dishwasher model shu43c05uc diagnostic code C1 at start then P0. what does this mean?

You seem to have inadvertently put it into the test sequence. Try pressing the two reset button simultaneously (usually the reset buttons are 1st and 3rd from left each with a dot underneath, if this does not work, press the button between the two resets (2nd button) P1 should come on then press the right reset button. The unit should run through a test cycle for approx 20mins and eventually reset the module, this is indicated by 0 in the display. Please repost if further assistance required.

I have a Bosch SHU9955US/14 (Integra) dishwasher. There is currently a 0 with and asterisk showing on the display and the unit will not run.

see this causes and fix it. God bless you
Thermal Fuse If the dishwasher won't start the thermal fuse might have blown. The thermal fuse helps to prevent damage to the dishwasher by turning off power so that it doesn't overheat. Once blown, the thermal fuse will have to be replaced for the dishwasher to work.

Door Switch The door switch, or switches, are sometimes called interlock switches. The door switch prevents the dishwasher from running while the door is open. If the dishwasher won't start, the switch or switches might be defective. To access the door switches, remove the control panel or inside door panel - depending on the model. They can be tested for continuity.

Main Control Board The main control board provides power to nearly every component of the dishwasher. If the dishwasher won't start the main control board might be defective. YOU should first check for more common parts. Many times control boards are replaced unnecessarily because the problem was not diagnosed properly.

Touchpad and Control Panel If the touchpad is defective, the control board might not get the signal for the selections made. If the dishwasher won't start and the display doesn't seem to change properly when the buttons are pressed, the touchpad might need to be replaced. On some models the touchpad and control panel are sold together and will need to be replaced at the same time.

Touchpad If the touchpad is defective, the control board might not get the signal for the selections made. If the dishwasher won't start and the display doesn't seem to change properly when the buttons are pressed, the touchpad might need to be replaced.

Timer The timer allows power to flow to the proper parts at the proper times. If the dishwasher won't start, the timer might be defective. Keep in mind that timers are often misdiagnosed as the cause of a problem. Check other components first before replacing the timer.

I have a 5 year bosch shu43c05uc & my dishes aren't clean any more? i've cleaned the bottom lint container & it still isn''t clean? does my dishwasher need repair?

You should be able to get several more years out of it with a good maintenance call or a Do It Yourself routine on checking your water inlet valve. spray arms, internal filters.

The Rinsing aid door keeps opening in my Bosch dishwaser

I believe paddy55 is correct about the rack position affecting the rinse agent door. When the top rack is moved to the higher position, the rack hits the latch on the rinse agent door, causing it to pop open.

Move the rack back to the lower position and see if the door stays closed.
