Putting the bobbin housing back together

My mom took the bobbin housing apart to clean teh machine but never put it back together. Where can I find schematics so I can fix this? I need a visual to look at.

Found your problem while I was trying to solve mine. I can solve yours. Here is the page from my manual about how to remove/replace bobbin housing. I hope you can make this image larger so you can see it clearly. We're limited as to the size of the file we can upload.

What I had missed was the little silver plate that is needed to keep the black plastic part down. So when sewing it kept pulling the bobbin and the black plastic part up, making a clacking sound and resulting in no stitch. Thank you.

Took my machine apart to clean & oil. Now having concern about how to put hook assembly back together. I have a manual but photo doesn't show enough detail!

This video is about removing the items in the bobbin area to clear thread tangles, but the instructions may help you figure out how to put them back together.

I took out the inner workings of the bobbin holder underneath the machine to try to clean out some clogged up thread, but I can't seem to get it back together. Suggestions?

You should have 3 pieces that make up the parts of the hook and bobbin case that you can take out to clean. 1 the bobbin case, 2 the race ring, 3 the hook. The easiest way to reinstall the hook and race ring is to tilt the machine and lay it on it's back. If you have the bobbin door open, and you rotate the handwheel and look inside the hook area, you will see the driver rotating back and forth. You want to set the hook inside the hook housing facing opposite the driver. As if your putting two halves together. Next install the race ring, shinny side out. Most of the rings have a nipple at the bottom that fits into a slot in the hook housing. Next lock the race ring in place with the 2 black or chrome arms that you swing inward. All you do next is install the bobbin case. Your done.

Installing the hook and bobbin assembly.

The plastic bobbin case should sit on top of the raceway, it should slot in quite easily, once the bobbin case is in put the small metal clip at the top over to hold it in place.

I took my maching apart to clean the lint out and when I put it back to together the needle is hitting the feed dogs. what could be causing this!

most likely the bobbin case is not aligned correctly .Insert the bobbin case so that the projection on the boobin case aligns with the spring.
