Extract From the fisher & paykel website user guide ....it seems to be all about the handles. http://www.fisherpaykel.com/vault/pdfs//pdf_usecares/5339_NZ_AU_ActiveSmart__HR.pdf
Door conversion
If you need to hinge your door on the opposite side we recommend that you call your local
Fisher & Paykel Authorised Repairer or Dealer to make this conversion.
ActiveSmart refrigerator models with silver handles need to be ordered at the point of purchase either with left or right opening doors and can not be interchanged.
All other models need to have an appropriate conversion kit for that model refrigerator.
The kit is available from your Fisher & Paykel Authorised Repairer or Dealer. Full instructions are
included in the conversion kit.
This does not apply to French door mode
Sounds like the oven door is not closing enough for the light to go off. When that happens you have bad hinges. You need a left and right hinge replacement kit. Some hinges are easier than others to change, however, any handy person should be able to complete the job in about an hour with simple hand tools. Please rate me a "4 thumbs" if this was helpful information.Best of luck!
Yes depending on age. once changed doors never seal properly. because cabinet warps and seals flatten on one side. suggest to sell and buy another. you will never be happy if converted.
first remove the door from the fridge, remove the hardware connected to the fridge, on the opposite side should be rubber or plastic caps covering some bolt holes. remove caps and install top of hinge transfer everything you see on the left to the right
Don't you think it would really boost sales if you did make a washer that the front loader door could open left to right . For homes that have very limited laundry room. and no way to switch.
nope sorry but all front load washers are built with a locking system on the door and that makes them impossible to change the door swing. the only thing you can do is move the washer and dryer position by getting longer hoses and venting so you can have the washer on the left and the dryer on the right.
Not sure with this model but most time you can and I'm sure this is no different, look at the screws holding the hinge bracket, there should be identical screw holes to match on the opposite side.
Basically they needed to supply an additional door mount for the left hand side of the door as well as the right hand side. Problem now sorted. Poor instructions in the manual didn't help here!
