Please help,
Everything I put in the deli drawer & on the back half of every shelf keeps freezing & I've had to throw out tons of food! The fridge is only a few years old but out of warranty. Can anyone help me figure out what's causing this & how to fix it?
Thanks in advance.

The problem with the water is that the drain tube is plugged. The easiest way to fix this and to save money is to unplugg the refrigerator and leave the doors open all day. This will thaw out the drain tube without a service technician coming out. That will fix that problem. With it freezing the food on the where its not supposed, This may be a bad cold control. But try unplugging the unit for a day with the doors open and this may fix both problems. (i know it will fix the water issue)

Your refrigerator stopped being built more than 6 years ago, so some items are no longer available.

well i'm not exactly sure what fridge you have but that is usually caused by the what they call a baffle...which is a flap that opens and closes to let the cold air from the freezer to the fresh food side. It sounds as if the baffle is stuck open or moving way too slowly and thus freezing your fresh food. You can find a part number and price at partsselect.com all you need is your model number. Good luck!!

look between those shelves
you will see hole that goes straigt through to the freezer , your vent diverter may have become dislodged and freezer air is flooding that shelf space

Hello friend, thanks for your inquiry!
I understand that you have a Frigidaire refrigerator, FGHN2866PF1, and your deli drawer is freezing items. You may want to turn down the temperature within your deli drawer, when adjusting the temperature could take 24 hours for your refrigerator to stabilize. If that does not resolve your issue I would suggest removing the drawer and checking over to make sure there are no cracks where too much air may be coming in. If there is too much weight in the deli drawer that could cause the drawer to sag, which may release cold air into the deli drawer. I hope this information has been helpfu. -Matt
