Tuning in channels for swisstec lcd tv

I have a swisstec 15 inch lcd tv with freeview - model no. SWI-S15D06901G. I have had it for just over a year, and believe there are some channels that have been added to the service or been 'moved' and so the tv needs to be 're-tuned'. The instruction manual cannot be found - is there anyone out there who knows how to re-tune the tv ?

i have a swisstec 15 inch lcd tv with freeview - model no. SWI-S15D06901G. It has been in storage and now it will not respond to the remote, it works on my other one. I bought a relacement and this only works on one, The one that will not respond is labled as S15-6, but has the rear connections of the S15-4! Do these have different remotes?

Retune swisstec tv sw1-swi/6ng tv-u-0609

All of the above is rubbish. I have had the exact same problem and wierdly you have to press the "nicam" button, this then brings up a new menu that you can't see in any other way. Then I went to "settings" and did a re-tune as per starting up for the first time. I now have all my channels.

I can not set up my freeview on my samsung 52 inch LCD can u help me step by step as I hav no instructions thanks

Plug your aerial into the freeview box. Connect a scart lead from the freeview box to your TV and switch on.
The freeview box, if new, will search for channels itself and as your TV will recognise that it is plugged in, will auto switch to the freeview box.
If it is not new, select menu on the freeview box and follow the instructions for tuning.
There is nothing to tune on your TV as you are using a scart lead.
Hope that helps.

Maxim 11-54 26 inch lcd tv switch mode power supply blown up need new one

I have a Maxim 15" Portable LCD TV with built in DVB-T Tuner.

It has worked well for 2 years.
Now when you switch it on set to DTV
Starts to reload the channels
Once it has found 90 channels it moves to Add and will not add any.
There are no stored channels from the built in freeview.
However we still have the normal 4 on ATV.
Any advice.

No remote for Swisstec T.V.

Hi rhami,

The only brand of universal remote I know of that has a code for Swisstec brand TVs is the Integra - the code is 0880.

The other option is to order a replacement remote for your model TV. http://www.amazon.co.uk carries remotes for a wide variety of Swisstec TVs (note that www.amazon.com does *not* offer these since Swisstec is British).

I hope this helps - please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.

SONY BRAVIA -KDF-E50A12U- SENTANTA FREEVIEW TUNING PROBLEMS.

You may lose some channels when you retune the TV as the channels have been rearranged. To locate them look at the EPG although you may still find that some channels are no longer available on FREEVIEW. See the following link for additional information

http://www.freeview.co.uk/_retuneinfo/

If the above process does not work then check the link above for additional information and also visit the accompanying site links below to find more information for your model of TV / FREEVIEW box.

TV, freeview, DVD and video set up.

Hi.
Modern day freeview boxes rarely have A modulator in them so you can not tune it to a channel on your tv it must be connected using scart lead.
Most freeview boxes have 2 scart sockets one for VCR & one for TV plug your scart leads in to the scart sockets of freeview they will be labled TV & VCR.
The scart labled TV goes to scart socket on the TV labled AV1 or 1
The scart labled VCR goes to scart socket on VCR labled AV or IN
Now the aerial leads From wall socket to ANT in on freeview.
Then from RF out on freeview to ANT in on VCR.
Then RF out on VCR to ANT in on TV doing this will enable you to put TV on 9 to watch tapes.

The final scart will be from DVD to TV socket marked AV2

You will need to put TV on AV channel to view freeview.
To record freeview you must put VCR to EITHER line.av,aux. it will be one of those different manufacturers call them by varying names.
I have done this banking on your tv having 2 scart sockets if it only has 1 let me know & I will tell you how to wire it differently.
Please state make & model of TV set & VCR & what connections are available EG scart, Phono, Svhs etc.
