I assume rgb means your component cables. First make sure your new TV is set to see a component signal. Is this a new box or old? Some have a little switch on the connection of the video cables to the Xbox that says "HD" or "TV". try both directions

3 likely possibilities -:

1) The slide switch on the Video Lead plug (plugs into Xbox) is in the wrong place for where its attached to you tv.

2) you consul is set to PAL not NSTC or the other way around.

3) Wrong video refresh rate, should be 50 for PAL Uk 60 NSTC

My xbox 360 turns on fine but it won't show on my tv

Im presuming you have check all the cables settings...
and still just audio , It requires that the G.P.U. be Preheated
and seated ( clamp down) and then Burn in A.K.A. x clamp mod.
the dead video problem needs a little more then the regular
x clamp mod , so make sure who ever dose it has a good
success rate .

Color distoration, then the game froze and now video wont work

It could be as simple as the video cables. Get another set of cables and try it. You can get them pretty cheap on auction sites. IF that dont work then I would say your headed for the 3 red lights or no video problem. If thats the case then check with ms and see if your still under warranty. If not we can help. We are registered repair service on this site. thanks

HDMI problem with Xbox 360 to Dell TV

check that the wire coming from the xbox 360 elite to the tv is switched to hd, and the other end of the wire has the red and white for the sound pluged into the tv and that the red green and blue wires are pluged into the tv. also check to see if the hdmi cable to conected to the tv and xbox 360 elite.

360 video problem on HDTV

I need a little bit more info on the TV its an RCA what?,

In the mean time what you could try is finding someone with a HD tv and trying it out at there house so that you can single out if it is your system or the TV. This will help alot you can also try someone else's xbox 360 at your house on your tv to see if it is your AV cable / xbox360.

TV makes high pitched noise

In 1080i the horizontal frequency more than doubles from 480i. This means that possibly the high voltage transformer or a linearity coil is occilating at that lower frequency.
