I have an eMachines Laptop Model E527 and I have installed Win XPSP3 OS. However I dont have any installation disk but uses the web to install other drivers except I could not find any VGA compatible driver for this emachine that works. I have a bad video. Please help me find the right software for this graphics video. The specs says it has an Intel G40 chipset? Tks Bert Flor

From reading the other comment I think you have the updated driver if the is the case reboot your computer and it may update (it may not be able to update while it is using it) then after rebooting go to add remove hardware and update driver if the computer wants a location go to Window/inf and it should find the right driver from there you may ge one of three messages I have the most updated driver or do you want to replace it or do you want to keep or replace this driver from here I would try any of them you can always go back to how it was before See if this works and get back to me if it does not
