Goodman GS9 blowing air but not getting hot

The Goodman GMS9 is blowing air but it never gets hot. We unplugged it several times and then needed a new fuse. The LED was lit continuously so we finally replaced the thermostat. The furnace fan is still blowing air but again it is not hot. What are some possible or common causes of this?

It's mounted onto the gas valve. It will be a button or lever that you have to push in or down, depending on the style.

Depending on the age of the furnace you may be able to adjust the cool down. On some furnaces there is a silver box usually made by honeywell. This is your fan limit control. If you take the cover off you will see a dial with different temperature settings with 3 pins in a grove. The first one is fan on with temperature rise this turns the blower on when the furnace starts and warms up. The second is the fan off after furnace shuts down, this would be the one you want to adjust to a higher temperature to keep the blower from blowing cold air. The last pin is the high limit if the furnace gets to this temperature it will shut the furnace off but keep the blower running. Make sure that the thermostat fan option is set to auto and not on.

SOURCE: Goodman GS9 propane furnace inducer motor runs continuously

it sounds like the low temp limit switch, the one that cools the furnace down with the burner off and the thermostat open, when it cools to a point the fan stops, the other switch in burner area turns burner off/on, hope this helps

New goodman 2.5ton and 2.5-3.5 airhandler installed 8weeks ago, worked well for about a week, then the problems begain, heatpumps reversing value replaced already, but unit still does not cool well,when...

There could be several things wrong. The unit could be undersized but since it worked fine in the beginning, we'll rule that out. There could be a refrigerant leak. Check and see if the evaporator coils (inside furnace) are sweating all the way to the top. The new refrigerant in these units makes it absolutely critical they be charged correctly. The expansion valve also requires adjusting sometimes, if so equipped. Just keep talking to the installers. It sounds like they will eventually get it right for you. Sometimes it takes several trips to get everything adjusted perfectly.

Fuse blow each time I turn on air check for

disconnect the thernostat wires from the control board. Put a jumper wire between R & G put door back on and turn on power. Blower motor
should run, if it blows the fuse then you have a direct short between R &
G at the board. Do this with R and W(heat) and R & Y(cool).

By disconnecting the thermostat wires and reinserting them make sure that they do not touch when inserted into each terminal. If it still blows
that little 3amp fuse when jumpering between each sequence as mentioned above, then I think your board is bad. When Jumpering out the Y terminal you will have to have the AC wires still hooked up. If it
blows the fuse in that sequence. Disconnect the wires out at the condensor.

You mat have a bad contactor at the outdoor unit.

I have goodman CKL49-1, air is not blowing, the

Your evaporator fan motor has quit. You need to find out if it is a relay or the fan motor. These systems come in various different setups. Updraft (vertical) or lay down (horizontal) you have to gain access to the motor and get it out. Turn off all power to the unit, look for any breakers at the panel. open the panel usually the same panel to access the filters. The motor and squirrel cage fan, will come out as one. look closely for rails at the top to slide the motor and cage out. Your wiring should unplug from the top close to the capacitor. you then can unbolt the motor - take pictures so you can reassemble it. Take the motor to a local HVAC store for a match. Be sure you get a new capacitor to go with the new motor.
