I have a CyberHome CH-DVD 300 that won't power on. It is plugged in, and the cord looks fine, but the status light is yellow and it won't power on. No where in the manual does it mention what a yellow status light means - only red and green. If I press and hold the power button for 10 seconds (to try and reset) the status light turns red while I'm holding the button in, but as soon as I let off it turns yellow again. Likewise if I try to push and hold the open/close button - the light turns green, but the second I let off it turns yellow again. Any idea what a yellow status light means and/or how to fix it?
Hey, I just unplugged my Cyberhome DVD for about 5 minutes and replugged it in. It is working fine. Try it with yours and let me know..

I have the same problem, but I know what the cause is. Mine stopped working right after we had a power failure, so I suspected a power problem. The +5V DC supply from the power supply pcb is only at 3V. I removed the wires for the +5V and patched in a USB cable to provide +5V and it is now working fine. I noticed that one of the capacitors on the power supply pcb is buldging on the top, so it's probably bad. I'm going to try to replace it and see if it fixes the problem. The simple answer is that your power supply pcb is not working correctly.

Did you get a fix on this? I inherited the player from a family member. The other thing I noticed is yellow light seems to strobe. I can hear a thumping in the audio as well
I have the same problem. What does the yellow status light mean. When you push and hold one of the other buttons it changes colors.
I got the similar problem for my Cyberhome CH-DVD 300 --- It does not power on. The small status light is yellow. The light turns to red when power on/off button is pushed, and turns green when "open" button is pushed. How about $5.00 for a real solution?

That didn't work on mine . . . I tried that before posting the problem. Thanks though.
