Water coming out of the bottom of the machine

Sometimes, what may seem like a washing machine leaking from bottom locations is actually one that leaks slowly from other spots. Slow leaks can accumulate beneath your washing machine making it seem like you have a bottom leak. For more help identifying the exact point of the leak, see Washing machine leaking.

Bottom leaks may be better identified using a newspaper. Just dry the floor and lay the newspaper beneath the washing machine before you test for leaks. Darkened sections map out your water leak. This method is not always foolproof, however. The best diagnosis will come from a qualified service professional inspecting your machine.

If your washing machine is leaking from bottom in the rear, you may need a replacement pump and professional installation. The leak could also be caused by a faulty air dome seal or a hole in the tub. For more troubleshooting steps to tackle that leak, see Washing machine leaking from bottom. I hope that helps!

My Cabrio washer is leaking (badly) from the bottom of the machine. Leaked so much water that the water went into the basement. I just had the computer repaired, but now this . . .

Morning, just from your description, it sounds like several things. A leaking pump, a broken hose, a transmission leak. You probably are going to have to call a serviceman on this one.

Leaking water from bottom

Hello there:
If the washer leaks all the time, check these: Hot and cold water fill hoses - Check the hot and cold water hoses from the household plumbing. If either hose is leaking, tighten it or replace it, as appropriate. Main tub seal - The main tub seal is located between the transmission and the outer tub. It's the primary water seal in the outer tub for the transmission-shaft entry point. If this seal leaks, you can see the leak by opening up the machine's main access panel while the machine is full of water with a small amount of detergent in it. The leak appears at the underside of the outer tub, at or near the center. This seal is difficult to replace. You probably should call a qualified appliance repair technician. Pump - If the pump leaks, you can probably spot the leak when the tub is full of water. The pump has two or more black rubber or plastic hoses attached to it and usually has a drive belt that spins the pump. If the pump is leaking, you need to replace it. Outer tub - Over time, the steel or plastic outer tubs can rust, split, or be punctured. If this happens, you may have to replace the entire outer tub-

My washer leaks water all the time

If it is leaking all the time while running it could be the drain pump. A coin had made its way into mine and cracked the housing. Itis located towards the right rear of the machine on the bottom, while standing in front of the machine.

Cabrio drains water onto floor.

I took the back cover off of the machine and found that the drain pump had a hole in it. The hole was caused by a coin that had made it's way down to the drain pump. The replacement pump cost $90.00 and was very easy to put in. If you google the words cabrio tear down you will come across a web site that has a video that shows you how to take the pump out. I have not had any leaks since. Keep the coins out of the washer, remeber to check your pockets to avoid paying out cash.
