I am attempting to copy a file from my hard drive that I copied using 123 Copy Dvd Gold. I found the file on my hard drive but, it won't let me make a new disc from it. Can this be done
This can be done, but when you copy the file to your HDD, you need to copy it as an ISO file. Then when you go to make a disk from it, you burn the ISO file to the disk.

Hi, You could compare the performances with a free decrypter such as DVDFab decrypter : http://www.dvdfab.com/free.htm I wouldn't have another one . Regards .
You usually download youtube vids as FLV files, there are plenty of free file conversion programs to change flv to avi or whatever format you want, you can then burn them onto a disc.
I have never used your software, so i am not sure if it handles flv files. If your dvd player will play avi/divx files, you could convert then to avi and burn them as a data disc using ant burning software, i use free software for this. CD burner XP and imgburn.
It sats this about your software..
Copy ANY DVD.
Burn YouTube videos to DVD.
Copy episodic shows like The Sopranos or *** and the City.
Autofit technology gives you the best possible quality.
Convert ANY DVD to DivX, AVI, Windows Media (WMV), and MPEG.
Burn videos downloaded from the internet to DVD.
Blu-Rays Upgradeable (Copy Blu-Ray Movies).
Copy DVD to Hard Disk.
So your software should be able to burn your dvd, there should be a HELP menu on the software.
I've never used 123 DVD Copy. If you're looking for another solution to rip DVD to WMV, you can count on VLC Media Player. This free program is available for Windows XP, Windows Vista, Mac OS X and many other platforms.
1. Insert the DVD you want to rip into your computer and open up VLC media player. Select "Media" on the top menu, and select "Open Disc..." from the drop down menu.
2. Click the "Play" drop-down menu, and choose "Convert".
3. Choose "Video - WMV + WMA (ASF)" in the "Profile" drop-down menu.
4. Choose your "Destination file", and then click "Start" to convert DVD to WMV.
Simple. When you copy the dvd, you do as usual as if you were going to copy it to another disc. Then when it asks you to insert the new disc to copy to, click abort. It will then ask you if you really want to abort, then you click yes. Then it will ask you if you want to clear the data you have just created. Click NO. Then you can find the .vob file in The Copy 123 Temp folder. This folder is always created for optical storage. It's what holds the movie until you write it to a disc. Hope this helps. Cheers.
Please run the "123 Copy DVD 2009" in compatibility mode for XP SP2 and run-as Administrator priviledges. It used some libraries/api's which require administrative priviledges.
