KP-43t75 no picture black screen, Menu comes up bowed

If the format of color system such as PAL/SECAM etc. is not same as that of telecast, you will get picture in black and white.

You must replace conversion IC's (2)

Convergence ICs, they are big black ICs will have part# on them if they are STK392-110s use 180s better ICs also CK pico fuses in front and behind ICs
they will look like resistors but will be Yellow or Green 5amps/6amp fuses

take the tv back to the dumpster and leave it this time

You could but mind you the age of the TV and the cost to replace it. I would look to see who will do a estimate for less.

the remote control buttons were stuck

Push the menu button and enter 1370 and push enter and the tv picture will appear on the screen. If it does not push the input button until the picture appears.

Rca has been known to have bad solder joints in the deflection circuits. Usually around the flyback and transformers.. check it over real good. Just be careful as you can still get shocked after the powers removed the capacitors and picture tube will hold a charge in them.

• adjust brightness setting when playing tv.
• adjust screen control located on flyback transformer.
• hope this will help.

well sound like convergence for one and maybe another problem. First look at customer settings and look at convergence and try to realign. Then you can in Standby mode(Power Off) Press Display 5 Vol+ TV power on Remote. Fast. Now do you know what you want to get to? Because changing things here could cause serious problems with your set.
