What type of refrigerant? R22- 70psi is good/ r410- 70 psi not good. What is the head pressure, is the filter clean, is the coil frozen, is the fan operating properly, all the supply air grills open...lots of things cause funky pressures. Need more info
any 4 tonnes air handler will fit if you respect de gas for the unit if r22 than than r 22 air handler if r410 than r410 air handler you can put r410 air handler if r 22 not avalable but be sure that expension valve is compatible.
No. R22 and R410 are not compatible. R410 units operate at much higher pressures than a comparable R22 unit. These refrigerants also use different types of oil which are not compatible. If you need to replace half you might as well replace the whole unit because I was told that as of January 1 of this year you can no longer buy an entire R22 unit unless it is one a dealer still has in stock. They are phasing out R22.
Hey, it might sound strange, but check both your high and low presure switchs, then check your charage presures, both high and low, there also may be clog in the ststem somwhere.
