Washer fills with water when the machine is not running
I have a Kenmore Elite HE3t 42924. Occasionally it fills with water when the machine is not in use. Not sure where the water is coming from. Any suggestions?

Hello, sounds like there was a blockage in the inlet valve. May have been a piece of calcium. I would run the machine a few times if you have no other problems don't worry too much. If the machine starts filling again pull the plug if it shuts down you have a problem with the machine. if it continues to fill there is a problem with the valve. You should replace it. Mike
remove fill hoses at wall and washer ends look for a screen in hose at faucet end and 1 in washer fill valve pull and clean them be sure to reinstall screens before reconnecting..also fluch hoses out after reconnecting to faucet end and before reconnecting to washer to flush any trash/sand that be in them
