Your not able to rotate the cam on an Asus. If the webcam is upside down, the driver installed is incorrect. You can uninstall the cam-driver by entering the device manager, then search for E-driver on your laptop. You will find the appropriate driver from there. If it still turns out to be upside down; enter device manager, right click the webcam, enter properties, pick details and lock for hardware id. copy the id, google it, and pick the Asus-related hit. Asus use the same cams in several series, so you will get the appropriate driver. Just be sure that you pick the driver that's from an Asus-site.

Hi there. This normally happens when you do not have the driver installed for it.

To fix this , type up you ASUS laptop model number on google followed by Webcam Driver. Once the driver has been found, download and install it. Restart your Laptop and it should work.

You can download the drivers from ASUS WEB site. You could try to go to device manager find the webcam double click to get into the properties then go to the driver and try to update the driver

if that dont work uninstall it in device manager and restart the laptop and hopefully windows
will load the correct driver for you

If the WEBcam is built-in in your laptop then you can download the drivers from ASUS WEB site. Select your model laptop, and make sure you select the Windows XP or Vista version of the drivers that matches your Windows operating system. Click on this link: -

If your webcam image rotated, install the driver.

If you are using Yahoo Messenger or Windows Live Messenger or Skype navigate to your webcam 'Settings'
Maybe in 'Advanced' look for 'Mirror Vertical' and make the change

install your driver for webcam. check it into http://support.asus.com
choose for your laptop ASUS A3H
and choose your driver webcam
download it
install it
restart it
and you can see your webcam will be work. open your windows explorer and see that bottom line "USB Video"

Some times BIOS disable webcam after updating it.

To enable it do the followings:

1. Restart your Eee PC.
2. Press F2 while booting (to enter BIOS sittings)
3. Go to "advanced" tab (by pressing right arrow)
4. Select "Onboard Device Configuration" (by pressing down arrow)
5. From there you can find if "Onboard Camera" is enabled or not.
6. If not, just press enter to pick "Enabled"
