I have a zanussi nexus fl 1081 washing machine and everytime I load softener into the dispenser it is still there after the wash cycle. Can anyone offer any suggestions please.
Sounds like you have a clogged tube.Try cleaning out the dispenser, pour hot water into it then run threw a cycle empty setting on hot this may clear it out.

Hi, my zanussi fle1216w is skipping the fabric softener stage of the
cycle. I've cleaned the dispensing drawer and the surrounding areas,
even put on a boil wash in case somethihg was gunge up or visits the Zanussi Owners Manual.
Hi there Now I am urprised. There must be three dispensers in your Zanussi as in my Candy. One is for the main wash another for prewash and the third one for the softner. Look in the manual. Kolbrun
The control board program has many sensors built into the unit to determine when to dispense the bleach and the softener. LG tech documents doesn't list when these liquids are dispensed so there must be a program that matches the current operation and loads of each wash program. That's the best answer I can give you at this time.
Remove the dispenser tray. Inspect the area just above the fabric softener portion of the dispenser. There should be a series of holes where water feeds into the tray during the rinse cycle. Sometimes these holes become clogged with fabric softener residue. If the holes are clogged, water will never dispense the fabric softener out and it will stay in the tray. If you take some cotton swabs and meticulously clean all the holes out, I bet your problem will go away. Let me know if this was helpful to you.
