Iphone 3g screen just turned all white

Power goes on but shows a white screen only, quite new and never been dropped!

    i was in an application then the app froze i put the phone in my pocket and when i pulled it out to use it the screen was white. i press the top power button and the screen turns dark. thats it. if i get a call it rings but i cant answer.

    i dropped my iphone one time and now when i try to turn it on the screen is all white what do i do?

Hey bro mine did to its a virus of some sort i took it to the shop and they said they will try fix it then they say we need to send it to a repair guy so i just got a new one lol

It's not 10 seconds. Hold down the home and the power button for about 15-30 seconds till the screen goes black. You will notice little lines in the screen, which is totally normal. Keep holding till the apple logo shows back up..

If it does not. Then your screen is probably out.

If your screen is not having a crack on it then there is a possibility that it can work again.

But if it has a crack then you need to buy a new screen.

It sounds like you have some internal screen damage, your LCD may be damaged or your digitizer. A professional will need to take your phone apart and determine the cause.

Sorry but your lcd screen needs replacement. Take it to the apple store and see if they'll give you a replacement. If they don't there are third party iPhone Repair Services that can fix it for you. There are also free iPhone Repair guide that show you how to fix it yourself. The part is on Ebay.

You will need to take this phone to Apple. Hopefully you have a warranty. I had the same problem once on my Iphone...It cost me 199 to replace my phone.. i had no insurance. You screen is damaged.Sorry.

There might be a Flex cable that disconnected in the phone, you will need to bring it to a cell phone shop or apple to have a look at it.
