How to re-wire the flashlight Makita BML185

You have a battery a globe and a switch. It really only matters matter if you keep the circuit board(CB). Here's how mine was wired.

Red - Battery pos to switch to bottom of CB (BT+)
Red - top of CB (BU+) to pos contact pivot
Black - neg contact pivot to top of CB (BU-)
Black - bottom to CB (BT-) to battery neg

Or you could just bypass the CB altogether, wire the black to the black, and the red to the red. done.

How to hook a cb up to a 2000 isuzu rodeo

CB to vehicle--two choices--lighter plug with adapter but that way you will likely pick up noise from the electrical system.

Go directly to the battery, leads as short as possible and if possible get a noise filter in line right at the battery.

I have my cb grounded and a wire ran to the postive side of my battery terminal and the antenna wire ran and my cbs channels wont come up we thought it was jus my cb so we hooked another up and it did the...

Hello,

Here is the deal, even with out antennas hooked up, you should get at least your channels on your cb showing, no of course you would have all noise and distortion with out antennas hooked up. And sense you hooked another cb up with same results it tells me, number one, it is not most likely your cb. If your channels are not even lighting up, then this tells me it is not getting power. I know you said that the cb is grounded, and there is a wire ran to the positive post of the battery. What I would do first of all make sure proper wire on cb is grounded and not reversed accidentally, but what i believe is your not getting power to the unit, if it was properly installed, there should be a inline fuse from the cb radio to the positive post the wire is connected to on the battery. I believe there is a inline fuse that is blow, or not a good connection on the post of the battery. To test this theory, take a long piece of same size wire gauge, and run direct from positive on battery to positive post on battery, of course making sure that the proper wire off the cb is grounded (must be grounded to something metal, might find different spot to ground the radio if not for sure on metal) If you get lights going on then on radio, then your problem, was not a good connection or inline fuse on positive wire that maybe you didn't see was blown. Let me know Mike

Hello,

Did you replace the battery or charge it back to capacity?

If your battery is not at full charge or isn't supplying the correct amps to the electrical system, every time you key your CB it will drop the voltage and other electrical components will stop working - or not work properly.

Make sure that your battery is fully charged and the electrolytes are at the proper levels.

If you put a new battery in your Gold Wing, did you buy the correct battery? A cheaper battery will most like cause problems with the electrical system.

If you find this information useful, please vote on this post. Thank You.

Wanting to put a cobra 19 dx IV cb radio in my truck and i need to know how do i connect the powersource to the fusebox

If I were you, I'd hook the power source directly to the battery. There should be a plug like rubber thing near your brakes. Take that out and run your wire from the cb radio to the battery. This way the truck doesn't have to be turned on to talk. Just make sure that you turn the cb radio off each time you use it or you'll drain the battery.

Blowing fuses

If the red wire scraped against the firewall on the way to battery due to sharp edges on the metal it will just short out. It has a dead short somewhere in the wiring or in the CB itself thats why it is just popping fuses as soon as they are installed.

Blowing fuses with wiring CB to battery

Is the wire going to the battery touching chasis ground at all? Accidentally pinched it, cut wire etc? If not the the power supply may be fried.
