You're absolutely right. If you look at the wiring diagram on the machine it is clear that the drain pump is powered by triac on PCB (part code C00270972).
I think it is definitely safer and probably cheaper to replace than to repair the PCB.
It is always a good practice to visually inspect PCBs that there are no visible defects such burnt out elements, etc. before replacing. Sometimes the reason for burnout PCB may be on a completely different side.

Pull out the machine. remove the drain hose from the water outlet pipe and place it low down in a basin on the floor. The water should empty from the drum by gravity. when the water empties you should be able to open the door. The water pump may be blocked. To check this, unplug the machine, tilt it machine backwards and have someone hold it. Have a look underneath and if you can locate the pump you should be able to rotate the impeller wheel, (probably plastic) freely by hand. if there is any resistance, it is most likely blocked, (small sock, coin etc.). You may need a service man to repair this
try to put your washer on a drain and see you can hear the pump workng. you should hear a buzzing.if you dont it mite be your pump that as gone. to get the water out pull whasher out near your back door if poss and lie the drain pipe flat the waser will then empty. if there is a buz then you could have a blockage. but if not a pump is no more then 25 pound and are not that had to do
Your problem is: Your dishwasher dose not drain water, and now dose not turn on the machin Any body can help you?
If the motor runs but it won't empty then the pump needs replacement. If the unit washes but the motor won't come on to empty then you have a control problem. Either way I don't recomend this repair to the average homeowner. You might consider utilizing our Repair Directory to find a repair man. If the d/w dosen't come on at all then it may be time to consider replacement.

Yes, it ought to be fixed on.
Best plan is to take the motor off the back of the pump body, then do a web search on "Askoll Pump". Compare the one with the pictures on the other.
Askoll pump motors are fitted to most UK machines these days, are easy to buy and fit, and a good deal cheaper than replacing the entire pump.
If the motor doesn't look like an Askoll, a complete Indesit replacement Pump is a little under Ā£30 on the net, so all is still not lost.
