If the bit is stuck in the spindle there is no easy fix I know. you just have to try to get hold of it and pull, try giving it a little twist as you do it.

For some reason, I can't find your screwdriver on the Dewalt site. They suggest calling them if you can't find an item. That info is below. That said, here is a YouTube that may be of interest. Be careful and don't burn yourself.
Take off the three screws in back of the handle and you should
see the brushes when you remove the back handle piece.

yes,when you look at the front portion of the gun, the tip nozzle thing is actually two separate external parts. The foremost aluminum nozzle and the twisty black plastic thing behind it will pull straight off the piece that is reverse threaded onto the gear box.
I use a DeWalt and the bit should just pull off like you would a cordless drill/driver. You might need a little persuasion (vice grips or pliers) because of the constant torque placed on it.
