Duracell charger wont charge..

I bought this item less than a month ago and only used it once... the second time when i try to charge my AA and AAA batteries, it didnt work, no light nothing.. i then got fed up and tried a different wayto get it to work though i know it wont charge anways, instead of positive to positive and negative to negative, it put the batteries the oppositve way. e.g positive as negative and negative as positive and the red light began to blink.. what does this mean? and will it charge? i need help?? i got my money refunded by the way but i rather try and get it fixed than throw it away ? lol

SOURCE: My 15 min. Duracell charger keeps blinking-won't work...

When the duracell lights blink during charging, AT YOUR OWN RISK, try a reverse charge. Instead charging positive to positive and negative to negative, try positive to negative and negative to positive. I did this for 2 minutes. This solved the problem. After the 2 minutes, I gave the batteries a normal charge. You will have to force the battery and charger contacts to touch.

Only used twice Walmart agrees its a problem but

whoa.....if you bought this two months ago take it back to Walmart and speak to the store manager. This should not have happened. I am quite sure the manager would rather take this back rather than have you file a written complaint with the local better business bureau. Regards, Joe

Red light is flashing off and on

Please refer to your charger user manual: but in general, this indicates that the charger has determined that one or more of your rechargeable is faulty (despite the fact that it may still hold a partial charge).
Smart charger can measure the expected voltage and current flow and will prevent any 'faulty' cells to be charged (those 'faulty' rechargeable batteries may actually still be useful and charged on other less intelligent charger). Try charging them individually (if your charger can handle individual battery) or in different pair combination to locate flaw cell.
Hope it helps.
