I have A V7 E17 PS Computer Video Monitor. The speaker go pop pop pop .
The speakers go pop pop pop especially when I first turn it on and later after it warms up it does it less. Does any know what is causing this or better yet how it fix it? I can use a soldering iron, and an ohm meter, but I would need pretty detailed instructions on how fix it.
Any help at all would be great.
Thanks
Shane

You need to connect an audio cable with stereo miniphone plugs at both ends (Radio Shack), one end goes into the audio line out (green jack) on the PC, another goes into audio line in (green jack) of the monitor. Set the volume conrtrol on the monitor about 1/2 way up, then adjust the volume at the PC.
Did you getting sound through headphone?
if it is ok means your monitor speaker have problem or the speaker wire damaged.Open the case and check whether wire damaged or the continuty of speaker is not ok by using a multimeter.
Pls feedback.Later i get back to you.
The speakers wires are normally color coded if the computer isn't ancient, the Speaker PLUG is green, if you are using the speakers in the monitor, then plug the green one from monitor to green jack on back of PC, (Microphone plug and jack is pink/Red).
If you are using other speakers 3rd party, 4.1,5.1, the hookup is different usually, But I think you need green to green, there should only be one green plug on back of PC, It may be labled sound out. but yours is probably green.
PS you also need to kake sure the monitor speakers dont require their own Power Supply/ AC adapter, Most of them do, while some desktop and monitor speakers do not just connect the cord ffrom monitor to green jack, "sound out". If this helps, thanks for the feedback
I use to get that same sound but only when I first booted up. Is this only happening when you have the volume up and does it happen if you turn down the sound all the WAY not off Your MIC could be enable and on boost level. If you sound is popping from the music or other source is it from all the speakers??? I can try and help
For your monitor with built in speakers, there should be a cable usually the plug is green in color, coming from the monitor which needs to be plugged to the back of the computer for the speakers to work. If you don't see a cable, then there is a plug on the monitor where a cable would go.
Yes you can connect external speakers. They plug into the back of the computer. There are usually round ports on the back colored blue, pink, and green. Figure: http://www.ultimatepcrepair.com/files/bsound.jpg (sometimes there is more, depending on your computer) The speaker cable plugs into the Green color one.
As you boot your PC there's a way to get to Cmos or Bios Setup screens. Sometimes you tap the Del key, sometimes it's one of the F keys. So get into Setup and make sure that the Audio System is turned on. Also if you got a disc for *********** board, there may be Audio drivers on it.
The hooks should pop out the sides of the speakers when you roll your finger over the grooved wheels. Pop both out for one speaker and you should be able to hook directly to the side of the monitor.
