Does the usb port on lg 32ld320 play movies

When I got the TV, the LG LH2000, with a diagonal of 32 inches, I was a little disappointed when I realized
that the model that I bought does not work behind the USB port on your TV . I was explained that it is only
for service (software upgrades and the like). I did not beat your head too much and I accepted the
situation.
What would help me? I miss writing movies on CDs and DVDs. Copy just the files on a USB stick, insert it
into the port behind the TV, go into menu and select USB. It's like a DVD player. These days, I discovered
that I can retire the DVD player, because now I can enable the USB and still use it. How?
In a few easy steps.
1.Press the same time the OK button on remote and OK button on the TV and hold down for about five-six
seconds
2. Asking a password - using the buttons on the remote, enter 0000, then press OK
3. Upper left corner of your screen will show the service menu
Well, here's a little more complicated and should be recommended to strictly limit yourself to three
settings below. WARNING! Where do additional settings without knowing exactly what use, you are solely
responsible for the potential disruption of the TV and also for the possible loss of warranty!
Once the service menu appears, select the third option (number 2, named TOOL OPTION3). Do not confuse 2 with
3. The numbering starts with 0, not 1, will therefore TOOL OPTION3 will be numbered with 2.
In other words, select the option marked in yellow as the image on the right. I suppose you can select with
OK, but I entered in navigation settings press the "right" button on the remote.
Following two settings:

1. Once entered in the TOOL OPTION3 menu, select the EMF (JPEG, MP3) and using the "right" button of
navigation on the remote (to be clear, "right arrow"), select option 1.
2.A second, and final setting is highlighted in yellow in the image on the right. At DivX choose HD.
And now important!, In any form do not press OK from the remote! Press Exit button(Return), located in the
lower right-hand navigation menu.

What happens after these settings have been made? In TV menu will be two new options: Input and USB. We are
interested, at present, USB. What should I do to see movies? In this order:
1.Introduce stick into the USB port on the back of the TV
2.Press Menu button on your remote and select the USB
3.Select movie files (or something like that, anyway you got options for MP3 or photo)
4.se will open a variety of browser, similar to those on DVD players
5.Search for desired movie and press OK
Integrated player in LG television support DivX. I put a stick on an episode of TopGear and I saw with no
problem. Using left-right arrows, you can run the movie. For a typical player buttons (Play, Pause, Stop),
they use those colors (they are marked otherwise) on the remote.
