To my knowledge all front loading washers require low sudsing high efficiency (he) detergent and these only come in liquid. A powdered detergent could probably be used, but I'd try a 1/4 of the recommended amount for a normal load first. Also it is not recommended. Regular liquid detergent can also probably be used but i'd start with 1/2 the the amount for a normal load. If you don't use the recommended "he detergents" expect occasional oversudsing problems and possibly even early drain pump death. Hope this helps.

what this mean is that the error code 5 indicates that the water temperature sensor reading is out of range (below 23 degrees F or above 217 degrees F). in your drying machine.

The bleach compartment is an extra part that was originally provided with the washer:
The detergent dispenser is divided into three compartments as follows:
1. Detergent for pre-washing;
2. Detergent for the wash cycle;
3. Fabric softeners,
4 Extra compartment for the bleach, to be inserted in compartment
