LG washer leaking

So I have tried to pin point the problem and this is what I have come up with.

If you are standing behind the washer the leak is coming from the top right hand side. I see a bellow leading from the dispenser (I believe) and to the drum and off to the left of that is a hose leading to the drain hose assembly and drum. I think one of those is leaking because when I had back off of the washer and I ran it that is were the water came from and that is were it is most wet. I have disassembled the control panel so I can see this from the top but when I ran the washer twice after I thought I had found the problem but it didn't leak at all.

Has anyone had this problem? and if you have can you please help this is driving me insane.

Thanks,

SOURCE: leaking from the back

although my knowledge og the LG machine is limited i can tell you I remember there being an issue with the water backing up through little sensors(mushrooms they were called because of there shape), there are 2 of them on the top; of the drum area and can be pulled right out, they merely "float" up nad down and overtime become "stuck" form the soap suds building up around them , so if you lkoacet them and pull them out, simply clean them off and sorrounding hole in which they came, you should be fine, also very important that yo uuse HE deteregent.HE detergent is specifically formulated asnot to suds up causing these problems. hope this is helpful

Need to know where filter is on the Lg top load wave force washer

Many times the hose gets mushy and either fractures or leaks from a weak point on the hose. In some cases the hose attachment leaks at the connecting point as the clamp is loose or the hose shrinks around the fitting.

My Lg problem is FE?What Ihave to do?

zjlimited_1817.jpg

Turn the water taps clockwise to close them and unplug the washer if "FE" or "PE" appears on the display. The "FE" error means the water valve is faulty and the washer is overfilling. "PE" means the water level sensor is faulty.

Hope helps.

I have an LG front loader washing maching, model# WM2277H* I have changed both the hot/cold water value and the washer is still leaking.

if leaking on front unit : check rubber seal front glass door. if it ripped you should change it.
If leaking behind unit : check water hose , is it placed properly ?
If leaking under unit : call technician to repair it.
good luck.

My windshield washer pump works, but no fluid on

Those little nubs on your hood or the spray jets on the wipers those spray jets need to be adjusted and be pointed up you can use a sewing needle just don't jam them or break them.

During fill up, machine makes a high pitch squeal

Have you checked your hoses for a leak? We could pin point which hose was leaking by trying all cold, then all hot...although changing both at the same time and on a routine basis is a great idea.

Water leaking during drain and spin

Hi!

You Need to check the following--

The fill hoses : These are located behind the washer and are connected to the water mixing valve and faucets. Pin holes and cracks on the hoses may cause them to leak.

The water valve: The water mixing valve is located behind the washer. The fill hoses connect to the water mixing valve. Inside of the valve is that the water gets directed to the filling spout. Water leaks happens when the valve develop pin holes or cracks. Bad fill hoses or water valve could be the reason why the washer is leaking water.

The Filling spout: Is just a directing part, this part directs the water from the water valve to the tank. Pin holes and cracks is what make this part to leak.

The tank : The major cause for the tank to leak is through holes or cracks that the tank develops because of vibration or metal items hitting the tank during the spin cycle.

The tub seal : The tub seal is made of rubber, it is connected between the transmission post and the center of the tank. Leaks developed when the seal gets worn out and it looses the ability to make a good seal between the transmission and the tank. A crack tank or worn out tub seal could be the reason why the washer is leaking water.

The overflow tube : This tube is use to direct the water away from any electrical parts like the motor in case of an overflow cause by a bad water mixing valve or bad water level switch.

The pump : The pump job is to remove the water from the tank to the drain pipe. This pump has an electric motor and an impeller. When the pump motor is turning, any water that falls in to the impeller, is push out to the drain pipe.

Most leaks are cause by a worn out seal between the front pump housing and the rear one.

The drain hose : The drain hose is made of hard plastic and some times it develops pin holes and cracks leaks. Bad pump or drain hose could be the reason why the washer is leaking water.

Washing machine leak

Check your exit hose spigot, it may be clogged. This is if your filter is all clean. There should be air for passage in the standpipe behind. Your hose should not fit airtight into the standpipe and neither too deep into it. Snaking out your standpipe would be good too. Quite possible the leak is from the point where your exit hose is inserted into the stand-pipe.
