I have a new Milwaukee 1/2" hammer drill, model 0724-20 with 2 sets of batteries. I squeeze the trigger and there is nothung! I have tried both batters and still the same problem. I can not get this drill to come on. Is there a safty switch I am not seeing or something I am doing wrong? I need HELP!!!!!!!!
Thank you,
KC
You have to activate the batteries by putting them in to the charger for a minute first, they are in an inactive state when first bought
HAVE YOU CHECKED THE BATTERIES TO VERIFY THAT THEY ARE TAKING A CHARGE? PUT A VOLTAGE METER ON THE BATTERY AND VERIFY THEY HAVE A CHARGE. IF NOT, REPLACE THE BATTERIES.

First do you have the switch in either the forward or reverse position. I would shift to either again just in case. Second look at where the battery connects and see if any debris or bent terminals. If this is a new tool I would take it back for a replacement. Milwaukee has a good warranty and it would probably not be worth the headache trying to fix, but we can if you want. Let me know
