Frigidaire LTF2940ES3 Erro 21

Empty the machine. Turn off. Close door. Try pushing simultaneously 2 buttons at a time while powering up. This would reset the machine.

Very likely the problem is a bad door lock. It is very common problem with Frigidaire front loaders. You have to measure the resistance of the wax motor in the door lock assembly (the orange piece on the right side of the picture). I don't know why Frigidaire call it PTC. Very confusing. The normal reading should very close to 1500 Ohms. Otherwise verify all wires from the door lock assembly to the control board and, if everything is fine, replace the control board.



If the door switch is bad, replace with this part.
If the control board is bad, replace with this part.

This is typically not a DIY type of job since the entire front, top, panel where the settings are needs to be taken apart to reach the control board and wiring harnesses.

There is no reset for this unit. Do you get any lights illuminated on the control panel at all?The lights should flash in a sequence to determine a error code. Here is the complete service manual for your machine. Your model is considered the "good model" in this manual which cover two different models. Look at page 61 of the manual to determine the error code and post it back to me. If you don't get any lights on the machine at all and you know you have power to the unit, then the control unit will need to be replaced. Here is the link to the service manual. dont think the door boot seal would rip clothes however its quite simple to replace if you think its leaky.....See utube.com how to.

F21 Long drain Possible cause: Clogged filter, clogged/failed pump. Get the bottom panels screws out and remove it. Tech sheet with erro codes and diagnostics are behind the white motor control box to the left.

exhaust fan at high speed

I had to call a service man and he said that it was the Speed Motor that had to be replaced.

I have the same washer and it will wash and drain but not spin. I replaced the door switch and the problem was solved.
