Sanza Clip is dead

I have a sanza clip and it just 'died'. If connected to computer or not there is no life in the thing. As it is not on, the computer does not recognise its existence. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Same thing happen to me! I did a hard reset (hold the power button for 10-15 sec) waited a few seconds, then tried to turn it on -- it worked for me. good luck!

What tools are needed in order to fix the clip on my eclipse fit clip?

It is not cost effective to fix an mp3 player like that. Here is a model that should be built a bit better.

Got a Sansa clip 4gb and want to put my music from itunes and windows media on it without having to sign up for rhapsody for fifteen dollars a month how do I do this?

Plug the Sanza into your computer and it should be recognized, if not, go to My Computer to find it. Right click to open it. Navigate to the music folder, then just copy files to that folder from your Windows My Music. itunes is similar.

Wondering how long it takes to charge the Sansa Clip MP3?

I have had the same problem. It seems the radio never turns off and keeps drawing power. Solution: before charging, go to a song, start it playing, then pause it, then turn off the sanza clip. Plug it in and it should charge up fine.

Sanza 2 gig

it sounds like you need to get a new battery. Your current battery might be strong enough to light the screen but not strong enough to launch the song. Thats only thing i can think of. Hope this helps! :-) please tell me if it does!
