I have a sanza clip and it just 'died'. If connected to computer or not there is no life in the thing. As it is not on, the computer does not recognise its existence. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Same thing happen to me! I did a hard reset (hold the power button for 10-15 sec) waited a few seconds, then tried to turn it on -- it worked for me. good luck!

Plug the Sanza into your computer and it should be recognized, if not, go to My Computer to find it. Right click to open it. Navigate to the music folder, then just copy files to that folder from your Windows My Music. itunes is similar.
did you try to connect from your sanza to onboard usb don't use the front of your pc usb maybe wrong setup or wrong connecting the wire . use the usb located at back of your pc , if you connect the sanza to you pc if have words appear ( found hardware)it mean the sanza need the software driver and you unable to detect without driver..
I have had the same problem. It seems the radio never turns off and keeps drawing power. Solution: before charging, go to a song, start it playing, then pause it, then turn off the sanza clip. Plug it in and it should charge up fine.
i just got it turned back on what i did i got an 8gb i dont think it will make a difference tho but all i did was push the power button up very fast like a flick and it turned on maybe ty it a few times and it will start hope i helped
it sounds like you need to get a new battery. Your current battery might be strong enough to light the screen but not strong enough to launch the song. Thats only thing i can think of. Hope this helps! :-) please tell me if it does!
