TESTING TO SEE IF ANY GOOD
To test the motor windings, use a multimeter to ohm out the common wire wtith the remaining wires of the motor, youn should read resistance, if you read OL on your meter the windings are bad. To test for a short to ground, check the resistance between each motor wire and the motor frame, you should not read resistane ifnyou do the motor is shorted to ground. To test mechanically, spin the shaft by hand, it should move easily, if hard to turn replace the motor. You can also apply power directly to the motor and if it does not start replace motor.
