THERE IS STANDING WATER ON TOP SHELF OF THE FRIDGE.
I NOTICED A SLOW DRIP COMING OFF THE TOP (CEILING) OF THE FRIDGE. I PUT A SMALL BOWL UNDER IT TO COLLECT.
OVER NIGHT IT COLLECTED ABOUT 3 OZ. THE FREEZER IS STAYING COLD, SO IT IS NOT COMING FROM THERE???
If the freezer is on top then empty out the freezer and remove the bottom and back liner of the freezer compartment usually phillips screws. In the back you will see the freezer coils along with a defrost element. Below these two items u will see a drip tray that collects water from the coils on defrost cycle, in the center of the pan will be a drain hole that connects to a hose that leads to a pan under the refrigerator.Normally the water is collected there and evaporated. The hole in the tray in the freezer is clogged. Thaw it and clean it until you can pour water in it and it goes to the pan down below. please rate me
you are the first place that has given me step by step as to how I find the drain. Other sites just said to clean the drain if the problem of water in the fridge occurs without saying where the heck to find the drain. I will try the maintenance myself now that I feel more confident that I know what I am doing.

I have the same problem as Kevin 271. I am going to try some of the fixes suggested in other posts. I will post the outcome.
the interior top shelf is getting a excessive amount of water collecting on it. there appears to be no wet spot from the interior top panel. could it be from a plug drain or filter ?
