I'm afraid to use my washer because of all the shaking of the floor and noise the washer drum causes during the rinse cycle. The drum bangs against the inside of the machine causing the entire washer to move. I must shut off the machine because of all the racket it makes. I feel that I when I purchased the washer it was sold to me damaged.

Open washer's cover and look for a released or a malfunction shock absorber.

make sure all shipping pins are out the tub should move all around from side to side if it level still bangs its eather the balance ring top basket are there 3 slides on a plate above the motor just put some silacone oil on tham move around

It's either a bad suspension spring or you have a crack in the tub support.

old duets have nut on rear pulley that becomes loose. remove rear panel and tighten nut. check while spinning by hand if pop is felt. if it rotates smoothly then you may need new shocks on tub
