How to reverse door on kelvinator fridge?

the front feet under the door opening are adjustable screws. You may have to use a shifter to get them to move as they mat be rusted . adjust so the fridge slopes slightly to the rear. This keeps any moisture on the back wall to drain out the hole and the door will close if left open

Hi halej308 - Unfortunately Frigidaire front load washer doors cannot be reverse.

You just grab the handle with both hands and pull/lift up like your trying to lift the fridge wirh the handle. It should disengage and then pull off.

Duet dryer doors cannot be reversed for the swing. They wil only open one way. Depending on your model of washer the newers ones will allow you to reverse the door swing without a kit. The older units require a kit to reverse the washer door.

some model you can, some you can't....if there are pre drilled holes with plastic plugs on the opposite side you can....you will need to purchase hinges and maybe handles.

This should be able to be done on site. If you look at the top of the fridge, on the opposite corner from where your hinge is currently located, you should see some sort of plug(s) that covers the screw holes that are used for changing the hinge between left and right. The same thing on the bottom face of the fridge body. You will see the screw holes to change the bottom hinge side as well. The doors themselves should also have plugs that cover where they sit on the hinges when the door opening direction is changed. I've not done it with model of fridge before, but I have with many others (installed them for a living when I was younger) and it should be a very simple DIY job providing there aren't any water tubes for the ice maker going into the door. Even then, with a bit of patience you should be able to do it rather than be charged for such a simple thing.

nope sorry but all front load washers are built with a locking system on the door and that makes them impossible to change the door swing.
the only thing you can do is move the washer and dryer position by getting longer hoses and venting so you can have the washer on the left and the dryer on the right.

In my experince all refrigerator doors can be converted from right to left opening. Look carefully how the doors are hinged and look for the same arrangements on the other side of the refrigerator. They may have plastic blanks which can be removed with a screwdiver, but they will be there. Turn off the fridge while working on it. And make arrangements for your frozen food if necessary.

Basically they needed to supply an additional door mount for the left hand side of the door as well as the right hand side. Problem now sorted. Poor instructions in the manual didn't help here!
