Question about Televison & Video
You cannot repair but only replace the screen. A 52" replacement screen will cost you just as much if not more than a new 52" LCD. Is the screen cracked?

Can't repair cracked panels. Only replace panels.
Not sure which TV model you have.
Here's a couple of models:
Model - 52SE94U, panel part# R1LK520D3LZ70Z.
Model - 52D82U, panel part# R1LK520D3LZ2CZ.
Well, you get the idea that the part cost over $3,500. It's just cheaper and better to get a new TV at that point.

most likely the power supply board has failed, but it could be the main board as well. call 1-800-samsung for nearest service center.

Testimonial: "I open the TV (Samsung 52" lcd full HD) up. I noticed 2 1000uf 10v caps has expanded at the top. I replaced the 2 caps (77pence each). TV now work."
I had that problem--POWER SUPPLY. IT COST ME $300 to put in the fix kit, and now 27 days later, my screen is bad. it has verticle lines on the right side of the picture. the tech said it is a bad panel so go buy another tv!
