E1 is an error code that may be displayed on a Lifesmart infrared heater. It typically indicates a problem with the heater's thermostat or temperature sensor.
If you see the E1 error code on your Lifesmart infrared heater, it is recommended that you try the following troubleshooting steps:
Check the heater's power cord and ensure that it is securely plugged into a working outlet.
Check the heater's thermostat and ensure that it is set to the correct temperature.
Check the heater's air filter and ensure that it is clean and free of debris.
Check the heater's temperature sensor and ensure that it is properly connected to the heater.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, it is recommended that you consult the heater's owner's manual or contact Lifesmart customer support for further assistance.
It is important to note that if the E1 error code persists, it is possible that the heater may be malfunctioning and may need to be repaired or replaced.
E1 Error Code
This is an error on the thermistor. For instance, if your EcoSmart tankless water heater unit is displaying this E1 error code, it shows that you are being notified of the EcoSmart inlet thermistor that is not reading the proper temperature.Sept 22, 2021
Apparently, your model, which is manufactured by Carrier Corp in Israel, has been replaced by a newer, yet similar model to yours, which I have included a link to.
Hi Thanks
for using FixYa. Error E1 means thermistor failure, it flashes when the
thermistor circuit is open. The dryer will not operate if the exhaust
temperature drops below 18° F. or exceeds 250° F. To resolve this the thermistor should be replaced. Please
do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further
assistance. Thanks Rylee
