I blew through the hose to the pressure switch to make sure it "clicked"
I ran one load with no problem, but on the next load at the spin cycle, there is a terrible grating/grinding noise coming from under the drum.I removed the agitator and drum to expose a geared shaft. the noise seems to be coming from it. Help!
Ok try this look under the washer between the motor and the transmission is a motor coupler it may have broken to get to it you need to remoe the motor and the pump very easy job but look between the motor and the trany and you will be able to see the coupler it should be two plastic coggs with a rubber coupler this is usually the problem
On this model of washer you have 4 separate components that could cause overflowing. The water valve, pressure switch, pressure switch hose & the air dome. If you have to turn the water off to prevent overflowing, I would recommend replacing the water valve. If you can turn the timer off & the water stops overflowing, I would recommend checking the pressure switch, hose & air dome.
