White screen when turn on laptop

If you hold a flashlight to the screen when you turn on the laptop,do you see your windows booting up in the dark?

white screen could be LCD damage depending on what type of screen it is. the beeping could be a stuck button.

This is a hardware problem. I recommend resetting the BIOS (this is best to be done in an authorized service center).

to definite causes , a CPU overheating or a RAM problem , and I think it is the first one.

i droped my laptop on the floor and now it is white and nothing will come up on the screen what dose it mean

sounds like the on-board video card is dying/ or the screen is dying too

your screen wiring may have gone bad. if you plug a regular monitor into the laptop, try pressing function + F4 or one of the F keys at the top. It should have a little monitor icon on it. Its a different key on some laptops. It will switch the display to use the monitor. Are you able to get a picture that way?
