Whirlpool accubake self clean oven. Error code(s) E2 - F3?

Chicken in the oven having a glass of wine. Heard a noise. Code E2 and F3 came up on the electronic display and the door locked.
While trying to find my operators manual the display returned to the clock mode and the door had unlocked.
Took the chicken out. yesyed the oven to see if it would come on and it did. Chickens cooked so I turned it off. Operators manual does not have display codes. What is a E2 - F3 and where can a guy get an inclusive list of all the codes.

You can get all the codes here.

F3 E2 9 Bake range over temperature At room temperature, sensor resistance should be 1K to 1.1K. If not, replace the sensor. If the sensor checks okay, replace the control.

Whirlpool GR396LXGQ oven comes on by itself & goes into clean cycle, code reads E2 -F3-

Whirlpool F3 faults relate to temperature problems in the oven. In the case of the error E2-F3, F3 is the general fault code and E2 is the specific error code. An E0-F3 error indicates that the oven's temperature sensor is open; E1-F3, that the temperature sensor is shorted; E2-F3, that the oven temperature has exceeded the maximum rated 575 degrees Fahrenheit in "Cook" mode; and E3-F3, that the oven temperature has exceeded the maximum rated 950 degrees Fahrenheit in the clean mode. Here is the probe to order.

The part comes with a 365 day, any part, any reason return policy.

Had an error code F3E2 show up on the screen

F3-E2 Oven over heat. Replace Sensor

0ae81cf.jpgOven sensor should measure around 1100 ohms.
Oven sensors should not be grounded. Continuity from frame to either sensor wire is a bad sensor.
