You can try Leawo Blu-ray Player which is a region free player. This program boasts of advanced image and processing technology, enabling users to have superb movie playback and cinema-like experience. This software has two different versions targeted at PC and Mac users respectively.

Have an LG BH7520 player and cant play my region 2 dvd movies

With your set on and without disc in the tray:

1. Press PLAY from your remote control
2. Press the following button sequence: 1590 2379 390
3. Press PLAY again

This will release the region verification in your player(region free). However, some DVDs (multi region in particular) will not play, since they require region detection from the player unit.

What is the code to make LG DP522H DVD player region free (0)/ multi-region? (this replaces my question yesterday where I got the LG model wrong!)

Ok so here is how it was done.

Press the Pause button on your remote control. Using your remote control enter the code 3, 1, 4, 1, 5 and 9, Press the 0 button on your remote control for Region free, 1 for Region 1 or 2 for Region 2. Press the Pause button on your remote control. Power off your player and wait a few seconds. Power on your player
Or
Press the Setup button on your remote control then, Step, Next, Up and Down, select the region of your choice or Bypass for region free, save and then Exit the menu.

Will a VHS from America play in my LG V181 video/DVD player

Hi
All American VHS recordings will be in NTSC system. If your player is compactable with NTSC system, you can play the VHS in your system. If it has no NTSC syste, the tape will play, but colour problems and vertical rolling will occur. OK.

Can you tell me if the LG DVX550 dvd player is multi region? My husband has lost the manual and I wish to purchase a dvd that is an American import and region 1

The dvd player is for region 2. If you would like to make it where you can view region 1 dvds please read all the posts on the link below. Pay real close attencion to posts 7,9,10,11,12.

http://www.avforums.com/forums/blu-ray-dvd-player-multiregion-hacks/1287167-lg-dvx550-dvx582h-request-hack.html

You will want to set it to 0 so you can play any region you would like at anytime.

I can't play all regions DVD movies. Can you send me the code to play all region DVD movies?

After getting clarification from Fixya I can pass the links below to you to check yourself

Some players are harder than others to do this but you may want to
try here or here
Comments:
Toshiba's and JVC's are the harder ones to do

I use a Phillips myself as it is not only cheaper but has much more going for it than many of the higher end units. i throw anything at it and it just plays

The older the unit that harder it is to do the region free thing with.
I let my EX have the panasonic (big grin)

If you cant find a fix then look at the codes available for cheaper brands and how easy it is to do it before you purchase one.

Just a thought.
