I have a problem with hp 2600n laserjet will not print at all tried setting to default and also turning on and off this has not solved the probvlem as yet it will however set up and goo thorough the configuration process i think the problem may be simple to solve if i can have some pouinters i would be most appreaciative

Try to fix the paper size from printer preferences, and check whether the printer cartridges are aligned, u can always align the printer cartridges by navigating the printer menu to the settings and then align printer cartriges. good luck
From the application that you are trying to print, click Print and then Preferences. On the next window you will have Print on both sides, tick Flip on long edge and if your printer has duplex capability it will print both sides now.
There is an override sequence and it works well. Press the select button (checkmark) to indicate Main menu. Press right-arrow (RA) to select System Setup. Press Select , then RA to Print Quality, Hit select. RA to Replace supplies and hit Select. Now, RA to Override Out and Select. Confirm with Select again. Your 2600n will now run even with an empty toner cartridge.
I am not sure what out of position refers to but if it is a setting in the printer this should fix it.
Restoring the factory-set defaults returns all of the settings to the factory defaults.

u can change the size of the paper size , u can make that from the default settings o, u can get that by making right click at the printer in control panel --> printers --> right click the Properties , u must be the administrator user of that computer , or press shift + right click the choose Run as .
You can print the Coniguration page and demos?
If so, somehow you may the settings to the printer wrong.
If you select , file, then print, see that the proper printer is selected.
If you can print those other pages, the printer and connection is fine. There is some setting not sending the print job from the applications.
Really sounds like the printer has be deselected at the default printer
