I understand that your Frigidaire Affinity washer, model# ATF7000E, is flashing an EFO code. I do not show an EFO code for your appliance.
I do show an EF1 code, which means the drain pump is clogged. In this instance you would unclog the drain pump.
I also show an EF2 code, which means too much soap was used. All you would do for this would be to try using less soap.
It could also be a false error code. I suggest resetting your washer, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your homes circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. When you restore power, start any cycle on your washer. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your washer status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.
Its not EFO its EF0 .Theremust be some thing blocking the pump .For example socks, underwear etc. The water was
not cycling through properly. Cleaned it out and everything works fine.Use proper detergent mentioned for your model because even SUD formation can cause this error.
Hi, If your washer displaysEFOit means that you are not using HE detergent. You must have used too much detergent on a particular load. You have to use He detergents to fix this issue or else not using it will ruin your washer because regular soap makes too much suds. Thank you!

My washer at the end of all the washing, spinning..etc...display the code EFO and all lights are opened...what does it mean. and I would to know if there is a listing of all the error codes and
I just spoke with customer support for my Affinity. They told me it was over sudsing (sp?). from using too much soap or not using high efficiency soap. Suggested running thru a cycle without soap to clear things out.
I've read in a product review that Frigidaire put out a service bulletin regarding the electronic timer circuit board in these machines. Apparently enough of these boards failed to prompt a factory response.
With this in mind, you should call an appliance repair center and ask them if they're aware of this Factory Service Bulletin. In many cases like this, where a part is manufactured defective, the repair could be free to you.
It is simple. The wrong soap or too much soap will caused EFO to flash. I overfilled the machine with soap by accident. It started flashing with EFO and I went nuts. What could be wrong with it now?! Too much soap or not the right kind of soap will cause this problem.
Plus, I found a sheet of paper that gives the codes.
This is better than when the strainer plug gets filled up and you have to take the machine apart to clean the little strainer.
