I am forever calling to have my ice maker repaired. In fact I will be calling them tomorrow for the 3rd time. My sister my brother and my mother all have ice makers and never have this problem. I will be asking for a new ref. very soon.If this continues

Have you tried defrosting the ice maker? If water is going to it under preasure and it is(the water path) not clogged the the control valve is clogged or defective.

Water dispenser quit Tuesday night. Did some trouble shooting I found on line, including leaving the light on in the dispenser well, but no change. The ice maker is still producing ice.

Ice maker works but the door controls don't come on. so to get ice you have to get it out of freezer

Hi my name is mark, do you have a water filter on this unit. shut off water to ice maker. remove water line from ice maker, hold water line in a bucket slowly turn on water. if you get water. then the fill solinoid has failed. if you do not get water trace water line back to water shut off. if it is the solinoid valve. you will need model and serial number to order part

Kitchen aid ice maker full of water

Sounds to me like a water level sensor is not working causing water to overflow and flood the ice storage compartment. Try the diagnostics provided in the video above. Here is a link to a service manual=> HERE I am here should you have questions, Thanks Sea Breeze

My kitchen aid refrigerator model KSB251NBL..NO ICE

Problem could be a couple of things. One There is a little control in the very back, its should be on the lower right side looking at the freg. from the back.It has a water line running up to the ice maker. If that is ok,you will need to replace the ice maker. It is not a big problem on either.Cost is for the little controll about $30.For the ice maker about &90.

Just use a butter knife and release the harness at the head. Get the end up against the tab and it will release easily.
