I cannot get the Bulldog Deluxe 500 to program a new transmitter. I just installed the unit. I do exactly as the install manual says to do to program a new remote transmitter. The horn chirps and the LED flashes, putting the unit into programming mode. But when I press any button on the remote, I do not get any chirp or parking lights flashing. I have tried multiple buttons on the remote with the same result. If I pull the battery out of the remote, it goes thru the musical chimes, so I assume the remote is okay? Any help is appreciated!!! This is installed on a 1996 Pontiac Grand Prix.

After contacting Bulldog Tech Support, they told me to check the wire connections to the antenna at both ends. They felt okay, but after reseating both ends, it works now!
