How can I reset alarms system on a pontiac montana 2001, I lost my keys

first, you need to manuslly disarm the alarm. open driver's door, put key in ignition, turn on ignition, an then within 10 seconds push the valet/program button for a couple of seconds. (it is the little spring loaded push button that they installed with your system. probably in the kick panel or under dash

Stick with Viper no matter the price even if you have to get a mocel with less features they never wear out  and 99% of problems aren;t from the product but from the installer whereas with cheaper alarms if you have a problem 99% of them are the product.

It could be set on car #2. Press function for 8 seconds and a light next to lock should come on. If the light next to unlock and lock (two lights) then it is set to #2 car (you can operate 2 cars with one remote). All you have to do is press function again to toggle between the two cars. You want to end up with only one light showing.
So, hold function for 8 seconds, then after a light shows, release and press function until you only see the one light.
