My viper alarm 350HV won't lock/unlock the doors when it is cold outside, but it will beep as if it does

It started with the airbag lights being on all the time, after instalation and now that it is getting colder in the a.m. and overnight, the key fob will beep as though the system is engaging but the actual door locks do not engage (go up/down)

SOURCE: driver's door won't unlock with remote

This may be a problem with wiring. I will need to know what the make and model is of the car. Also keyless entry system stock OEM or was that an option you have added? Lastly, did you install this system or was this installed by a cetified DEI corperation?

Thank you,
Luis

My viper alarm system when armed and disarmed there is no sound from the speaker

Either the system is in valet or, the chirps have been deleted or, the siren is broken.
If the LED is on solid the system is in valet. open the door, press lock, unlock, lock on the remote to remove valet.
Press and hold the lock button. This activates the car finder/panic. The siren should begin to wail. If it does, the siren works. If it doesn't and all you see is the aprking lights flashing the siren is defective.

I have a 350hv viper alarm on my Yukon. Just last night when I was trying to lock the truck, the doors didn't lock and the horn didn't go off like it normally does. It sounds like there is no power...

I got this free Pdf manual from reliable-store for free and I don't think Ive visited a mechanic or fixya for help for more than 3-4 times out of the 20 times I fixed the chipper in these 4 years

My 350hv just shuts off randomly. I can arm it and come back later and it is off and my doors are unlocked!

Sorry, but it is my opinion that car alarms are really, really foolish.
Cars are extremely hostile environments for delicate electronics.
Adding alarms is begging for problems that will leave you without a car.
If you lock any valuables in the trunk, out of sight, there is no reason for an alarm. All an alarm will do is either fail and prevent you from driving, or fail and get you a ticket for a false alarm.
