I got a treo 600 cricket flash and the screen comes up verzion the person said it was flashed already. how do i make the phone come cricket screen

1 Download on your computer a reliable flash software which can be found online for free or for a fee. It should be compatible with your Windows version. This software will contain PRL files to overwrite a cell phone's data, PST tools to reprogram the phone, and Monster files to flash a phone. 2 Double-click and unzip the downloaded flash software.

These phones can be fully flashed if they are CDMA (no sim card) however on these phones the flash is very unstaible. You are much better off purchasing a new cricket phone, as you are guarenteed all of the features.

If you really want this phone flashed then you should look for an authorized cricket dealer or a store that flashes phones. Corporate locations (Full Service) do not flash phones.

it can be unlocked by calling your carrier and they will give you the infomation as long as the account is current and not delienquent if canceled

You need to have your cell phone carrier set it up for you, their tech support is where you need to go. I had sprint in the past and you have to go into a screen to input info. They can help you.

Last I checked, none of PalmOne's products support tri-band, so ask Cricket for a phone that supports it.

contact cricket and get there messae centre number of them, enter this into the option on your message settings, also get them to send you a sim update and also a gprs message update this will sort all your problems

you have to dial #*#000000
This will pull up the setup screen.
You will have to get the following info from cricket...a store will tell you.
MDN #, MIN#, and CID#, leave the NID# blank.....then u should be ready to go.

the ESN is probably not activated properly on the network

This is a problem with the Treo 600's, because the phone is starting to get old and isn't compatible with some gsm providers anymore.

When it is happening, perform a soft reset (push the reset button on the back). Occasionally this helps, but NOT all the time.

Your best bet is to upgrade to a later model treo, like the 680.
