They have a rechargeable battery in them, you'll have to go to jeweler or a watch repair store.the battery is not cheap!!! I had my wifes fixed a few years ago the battery cost $68.00,but she likes the watch so it was worth it.
you can set the date of your watch by pulling the crown on its middle position and turn it until it reaches the exact date, remember there are three position of the crown, first the normal position, the middle and the out position. push the crown when you done. i hope this will help you.
Stop panicking, please. If you lost the battery, that means your watch has been opened, so, read the movement number and submit here. Then Ill be able to give exact battery number.
To set the timer hand on these models of Pulsar watches, do the following: Looking at the face of the watch, there are two buttons and a crown on the right side. The TOP button is Button "A". - The BOTTOM button is Button "B". There are 3 positions on the crown: IN (#1), FIRST CLICK (#2) & SECOND CLICK (#3). First, pull the crown out to the second 'click' position (#3) ... This is all the way out. (STOP THERE! Pulling harder will harm your watch! Don't try to pull past position #3!) Push and hold Button "A" for two (2) seconds. The dial will sweep around to the 12 O'clock position. You can advance the timer while the crown is in position #3 (second click out) to reset it back to the default position. The manual says that if you pull the crown out to position #3 while the timer is measuring, the hand will reset back to the 12 o'clock position... I haven't tried that, so I can't confirm.
If your watch is still running acording to hrs and mins then the second hand must be slipping so would need to be attended to by removing the module, In some watches the second hand appears to twitch because the battery has become too flat so maybe the battery needs to be replaced.
The larger second hand on the Pulsar PF8036 is part of the stopwatch feature. The upper button starts/stops the stopwatch feature, and the lower button operates the lap/reset function. Why they made the larger hand work only with the stopwatch instead of the smaller hand to the left is beyond me, but that's how it is designed.
I have a similar solar modle Ive had since 1995 , about 4 years ago it started loosing time and the second hand started double ticking. I sat it down out side on a cool summer day for the hole day in the bright sun and never have had a problem since. knock on wood! It was also runover by a car last year and still works good. I wont ever get ride of it. Hopefully this helps u guys out
