LEICA TS 02 PUK CODE

The Leica Total Station is on Lease. and if you don't pay the monthly fee, they lock it on you with a PUK Lock. Only Leica can unlock it. There is no other way, no magic codes, no way to work it out from the serial number. They use an RSA 128 bit encrypted password of about 12 to 16 letters and numbers.

The only place to get the PUK Code is from Leica. They lock it with a 128 bit RSA Encryption code so you can't use it. You pay the monthly fee and they will unlock. You are basically renting it from them, and if you don't pay, they lock it to stop you using it. They also lock it on behalf of the person leasing it, if it had been stolen from a work site. There is no way around it and no-one else can unlock it but them. The code is also in the original documentation that came with it.

the puk cod means " personal unblocking key "

If a wrong PIN has been entered five times, the system will prompt for a PersonalUnblocKing code. The PUK code can be found on the instrument delivery papers.If the PUK code entered is correct then the instrument will start up and reset the PIN code to default value 0 and Use PIN Code : Off .... reallly I have the same problem but I lost its delivery papers
