Not a big deal. Im assuming this is a 4-stroke push mower and not a leaf blower.
Remove the air box cover, air filter, and air box back plate. Careful there is a gasket on the back of the backplate that if damaged the primer bulb wont work, part # 272653. Remove the fuel line from the carb and drain the tank. Using a 1/2 inch wrench remove the bowl nut from the float bowl on the carb, hold the bowl to the carb as to not break the gasket seal, drain the bowl and replace the bowl nut. If you tried to run the unit and oil is in the cylinder remove the spark plug ( clean the spark plug) and spray some carb cleaner in the hole and pull the starter rope several times to purge the cylinder. Reinstall the spark plug, reattatch the fuel line, install the air box back plate ( leave the air filter and cover off for now), add fresh fuel.
Take unit outside and start, you may need to give it a shot of carb cleaner in the throat of the carb to help it start. It may smoke, it may blow oil out the muffler. Let it run until it quits smoking ( usually around 5 minutes) . Shut it off and complete assembly. It should be fine.

remove the oil drain plug to take some oil out. as long as you get oil in engine it will smoke until it is burn off.

It is not good for that motor--drain and clean and expect plug may get fouled---do it the sooner the better.

We have a 2005 Kia Sorrento. This morning, when going up a hill, the car completely shut off-when we pushed on the gas, nothing. When we came to a complete stop, shut everything off, it started up again....

it might be the moter oil lo or none it can be the tranz oil if it an auto or it might be diesel bug that grows in the tank and some times gets suckd up the full line and will block it up

have to see if the oil pump strainer is clooged...oil ports clogged??? was the motor taken care of...valve covers loaded up with sludge??? pan comes off the rest is to be looked at...if she was run on no oil pressure I sure would be suspect of this motor being in poor condition. Does it run???? Is it knocking?smoking? banging or clunking? if not put a gauge on the oil pressure sending unit hole and see if it really has no oil pressure or perhaps it has a bad sender?

Bad gas can do it but a sniff can tell. If it smells like turpentine, it's bad. Your may also have a plugged syphon tube (inside the tank).

I don't recall it saying anything about simply due to the fact we are supose to know not to do that; however, if it is working, I wouldn't worry about it.

Take the air cleaner off and plug the hose with a balled up grocery plastic bag to keep water out. Wrap the carburetor with several layers of plastic too. Buy a small container of GUNK, and paint it on the engine, wheels, chain, and frame. Don't put it on the gas tank or seat. If the fabric on the seat is in poor condition, cover it with plastic too or you will have a wet **** for a week! This GUNK turns grease and oil into soap which then washes off with water spray to leave aluminum engine parts looking brand new. Buy a can of chain lube for the chain--plain oil flies off at speed and leaves an oil line up your back. The front fork seals can be taken care of any time. The rusty brakes will take care of themselves with use. After spraying it clean, dry it off and remove the plastic. Replace the air cleaner with new if it looks oily or is damaged. Take the machine for a ride to dry off those hidden places. Good luck!

do not put oil in gas just 87 octane gas their should be a small pulg or cap where you can ck. the oil.you do not mix gas and oil with that moter or it will smoke bad
