Need manual for Samsung refrigeator model # RS2555SL

I recommend that you check to see if any fans are running in the refrigerator. If you hear nothing to indicate that it is working at all, I recommend that you check the house circuit breaker for the refrigerator outlet. If the breaker is not tripped, check to make sure that the refrigerator is plugged in. Try plugging it into a different outlet if possible. If the outlet is bad, it will need to be repaired by an electrician. If you do hear fans running and the freezer is cooling properly, you could have an air flow problem. Check the vent on the top left inside wall of the refrigerator to make sure that it is not blocked. Also check the vent at the bottom of that wall. If these vents are blocked, the cold air will not circulate through the refrigerator section. Check the back inside panel of the freezer for a build-up of frost or ice. This could indicate that you have a problem with the automatic defrost system. If frost builds up on the evaporator fins, it will eventually block the air flow through the refrigerator.

I found a solution and it was so simple. What you have to do is hold down the power cool and power fridge buttons down for approx 10 seconds and that will reset the fridge and it should start right up. I did exactly that and it worked, AMAZING. I read this at another web sight and was told that The Manufacturers dont tell you (the consumer) about this secret because the service techs along with the part manufacturers would never make money from us (Go Figure). I hope this works for you too and if not, I cant imagine what else you need.

SOURCE: Neither freezer or frig is working each has its own compressor.
No Colin,
It has two evaporators with one compressor. Your thinking, or was told by the Sales Staff "Its like a Sub Zero" Right?
Sorry for the confussion Brother! I get that alot.
Your problem and symtoms sound like a auto defrost malfunction if you can hear the compressor running.
OR if Compressor is not running and you hear a periodic "Hum followed by a CLICK" at the compressor. Replace the PTC Start Relay on the side of the compressor.
You tempertures have increased to the point that the electronic display is giving you the "ME DEAD" ME CLOSE MY EYES NOW!
If you unplug the frig or shut down power to the frig. The PCB will return with "Set Temp" then show current temp!
Compressor should start in 5 min. If so wait to see if the reading start to come down to normal. FZ=0 RF=37
Problem maybe Main PCB
If after several hours and NO reduction in readings, UNPLUG the Frig
to totally defrost itself for several days ( what's a couple more days)
YES A COUPLE OF DAYS, THE EVAPORATORS ARE INCASED IN STYROFOAM a well know insulator> Watch for icewater draining into the "Non-Removable" Drip pan under the compressor in the back. Remove the rear cover to expose and suction water out with a baster or wet vac on occasion. If you get a full pan of water> YEP Defrost Malfunction.
You can plug the frig back in after water stops dripping. Watch your display it will almost immediately start dropping in readings.
The Frig will work again for how long it takes to ice over again. I say 1 -2 weeks depending on humidity and how it takes you to make up your mind on what you want to eat?
Since the resolution and repair is so difficult I RECOMMED CALLING:
1-800-SAMSUNG and schedule a visit.
Why you say?
Well if the Compressor went bad and is less than 5 years old,>IT"S UNDER WARRANTY.
IF the Ref Side Evaporator Heater is Shorted It's a Evaporator Replacement (Heater not available seperate) > WARRANTY AGAIN.
So, Looking at the post date, You must of had it repaired by now?
What was it?
Hope this helps!
Seen It B4
Your Welcome

Hello,
Fan not running will cause the fresh food and the freezer sections not
to work properly. If the condenser fan (the one under refrigerator) is not working, the
compressor will cut off on the overload.
If the evaporator fan is not running, there will be no airflow to the
freezer or the refrigerator.
The solution to this is to check to see if something is blocking the fan to prevent it from running.
If there is nothing blocking it then replace it.
Replacing this unit will solve the problem and both unit will function well after the replacement.
Take care.
